Here's some informed opinion from The Guardian, and a couple of other
information sources about the overall topic of climate change (separately
from anything to do with the ice shelf).

*Climate in movement…. *
[I’m not sure I comprehend the full implications of what this post is about
- the Larsen C ice shelf being projected to break/calve at any moment or
day, producing one of the largest icebergs on record – but as the post
below says, I do understand that this is going to be an iconic moment in
history. So I am doing this post purely to share this information – and /
but would be very happy if others who are more informed, would like to come
in and help the rest of us understand the larger significance :

As many have noticed, the Larsen C ice shelf is projected to break/calve at
any moment or day, producing one of the largest icebergs on record.
It will be an iconic moment. The coming event has already generated a lot
of media attention.
Many have and will connect the event to climate change. This is an
extremely complicated subject. Poorly constructed connection have already
generated pushback.
Climate Signals has assembled a full-annotated run-down of the available
science:

poleward progression of iceshelf collapse

After #LarsenC calving, ice shelf will be smallest on record, probably
smallest since interglacial 115,000 years ago https://t.co/wPYGGzJVB3 ht
