Hello everybody!

In memoriam of global NGO advocacy industry

Its hegemony upon which it received its hegemonial position died on the 3rd
of December 2018

I have for long wondered why grown-ups have allowed NGO advocacy
professionals to maintain hegemony in the environmental movement. Allt the
time asking us to put pressure on world leaders directing our attention to
actors that decade after decade have shown that they are not willing to act
thus diluting the interest in seeing ourselves as a collective actor needed
to change society and the world. Now a child, 15 yer old Greta Thunberg
have spoken to the UN conference in Katowice on the 3rd of December 2018
aand the spell is broken: The Caesar is naked:

"So we have not come here to beg the world leaders to care for our future.
They have ignored us in the past and they will ignore us again. We have
come here to let them know that change is coming whether they like it or
not. The people will rise to the challenge. And since our leaders are
behaving like children, we will have to take the responsibility they should
have taken long ago.”

As coordinator of the first international climate action days together with
fellow Swedes and Finns 1991-94 were we had the same message as Greta I
always wondered why so called Climate Action Network and others were
completely uninterested in anything else then lobbying. When the
international climate action days was brought up again by Socialist
Worker's Party, Greenpeace, 350.org and others in 2005 it was done with the
same focus on demanding action from world leaders avoiding any
antineoliberal demand that could link the climate struggle to other social
struggles.

Now is the time for popular moveents to rise up to the challenge made by
Greta and all the kids speaking up.
