Power
Team, suspended all activities of AYM Hub Uganda. The suspension stemmed
from various allegations received from AYM members in Uganda about their
leadership. Members alleged multiple issues, including but not limited to
mismanagement from AYM Uganda 2017 forum funds, claims of sexual
harassment, conflict of interest between AYM and Yearning Voices Foundation
(YVF), the absence of accountability and transparency, and an overall lack
of a clear vision for the Hub.

In light of these accusations, Power Team launched a full inquiry to
determine the validity of such claims. However, we faced some challenges
during the investigation process. It was extremely challenging to
communicate with the leadership team in Uganda. Recognizing the safety and
wellbeing of our members as paramount, we had to be discrete in our
approach, hence limiting our ability to find the facts.
