    Greetings!Yesterday it was the concluding day of a workshop in
    Pachacamac (Peru), organised by the Consortium in close cooperation
    with the IUCN. The workshop focused on the governance of indigenous
    territories and saw the participation of 26 representatives of 13
    diverse indigenous peoples from the Peruvian Amazon.I believe the
    agreement, commitment and demands that the indigenous participants
    reached among themselves and posed to the attention of the national
    protected area agency are remarkably direct and compelling, and it
    is good sharing them with you.

    Estimados colegas del Consorcio,
    ¡Saludos! Ayer fue el día de cierre de un taller en Pachacamac
    (Perú), organizado por el Consorcio en estrecha cooperación con la
    UICN. El taller se centró en la gobernanza de los territorios
    indígenas y contó con la participación de 26 representantes de 13
    pueblos indígenas de la Amazonía peruana. Creo que el acuerdo, el
    compromiso y las demandas que los participantes indígenas alcanzaron
    entre sí y señalaron a la atención de la agencia nacional de áreas
    protegidas son notablemente directos y convincentes, y es bueno
    compartirlos con usted.

    En anexo por favor también encontrar algunas fotos del evento.

    Chers collègues du Consortium,
    Salutations! Hier c'était la journée de clôture d'un atelier à
    Pachacamac (Pérou), organisé par le Consortium en étroite
    coopération avec l'UICN. L’atelierétait axé sur la gouvernance des
    territoires autochtones et a réuni 26 représentants de 13 peuples
    autochtones de l’Amazonie péruvienne. Je crois que l'accord,
    l'engagement et les demandes que les participants autochtones ont
    conclus entre eux et offert à l'attention de l'agence nationale des
    aires protégées sont remarquablement directs et convaincants, et il
    est bon de les partager avec vous.
