Dear Friends

More than 200 peoplehave reportedly been killed in a series of bomb explosions in Sri Lanka. It isvery shocking to know that this gruesome incident happened on Easter.

I extend my feelingsof sadness, and a controlled anger to the survivors of this ghastly incident. Isubmit here my heartfelt condolence. I have no words to express how sad andhurt I am after I came to know about this.

I take thisopportunity to extend my solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka and the SriLankan Government in this moment of crisis.

All of us who areengaged in working for peace and justice must stand together. Let us all worktogether to defeat the divisive forces.

Do pass it on toothers in your circle/network.

My final words of advice to you are educate, agitate and organize; have faith in yourself. With justice on our side I do not see how we can lose our battle. The battle to me is a matter of joy. The battle is in the fullest sense spiritual. There is nothing material or social in it. For ours is a battle not for wealth or for power. It is battle for freedom. It is the battle of reclamation of human personality.
