Dear friends,

On behalf of Vikalp Sangam, we are happy to launch 'Vikalp Vārtā', an 
online dialogue series on alternatives for India during the covid times 
and beyond. On Saturday afternoons from 3:00 - 4:30 pm, we will feature 
leaders of initiatives that are engaged in creating systemic 
alternatives, even as they are currently responding to the covid crisis.

Our first speaker is Manas Arvind, who founded the Gurgaon Farmers 
Market five years ago and continues to run it every week with the 
support of volunteers. This initiative connects about 12-20 organic 
farmers around Gurgaon with over 500 families living in Gurgaon. After a 
30-minute visual presentation, Manas will respond to questions from 
participants. We are experimenting with an open talk format without the 
need for registration. You may click on
