Glad also that you've checked out the new website. Yes, the graphic there is in a sense a ‘swarm’ – but not of insects (which I think the word ‘swarm’ is usually associated with) but of a flock of starlings, and otherwise known as ‘the murmurations of starlings’ (see, for instance, https://animals.howstuffworks.com/birds/starling-murmurations.htm) <https://animals.howstuffworks.com/birds/starling-murmurations.htm)>..... Or in our terms at the MOM Project (The Movements of Movements Project), this is one of the many manifestations of the extraordinary phenomenon of the movements of movements….
