With everything going on right now, the People’s Strike coalition is
reaching out to communicate our solidarity - and upcoming actions - in
achieving justice and changing the exploitative and harmful systems within
the US and internationally.

People’s Strike is a growing coalition formed around a preliminary set of
demands responding to the COVID crisis, but that encompass long-term and
multi-faceted organizing and struggle.

*June 1st marks the second “First of the Month” People’s Strike! day of
actions. This email is to make sure you know what is planned and how to
participate and support.*

*First off -*

· this 90-second video from May Day captures the spirit and purpose of
this movement: www.youtu.be/BiJi-HO6l7Y

· This 37-minutes provides deeper understanding of the circumstances
and what we’re building: www.youtu.be/BiJi-HO6l7Y

Sacramento, and Eureka (CA), New Orleans (LA), and Jackson (MS)

· Post, tweet, gram with messages pushing the need for a multi-issue,
root-cause approach to the problems we face.

· Share our press release:

We are building an ongoing page of upcoming actions and events.

Please add actions you’re organizing, or that you know are being put
together. You can also add links of media documentation and coverage of
actions, on the same page. *https://peoplesstrike.org/events/*

Endorsements from individuals and organizations can also be made through
our website. If you do so - in case you haven’t already - you’ll be sure to
be included in our future plans.

*And be sure to tune in to our broadcast livestream tomorrow if you’re not
in the streets*!

We want to provide something comprehensive and relevant, to support the
work we’re all doing. We’ll send out another email, with any and all
last-minute info, when it starts, as a reminder.

*Stay connected with who and what is important,*

In solidarity, love, rage, and uprise !!
