Dear friends,

Our next webinar will be on this sunday, june 28, 2020 at 16:00 (GMT+02:00).

As part of the World Social Forum of Transformative this webinar seeks to draw from the webinar series organized by the Global Tapestry of Alternatives and Global Dialogues for Systemic Change and present concrete examples of solidarity actions and movements that have emerged during COVID-19, the lessons we can learn from political organizing during the pandemic around the world, as well as the opportunities that lay ahead of us in terms of consolidating concrete strategies to move towards systemic change.

The World Social Forum of Transformative Economies (june 25th - july 1) is the process of convergence of different local and international movements from the alternative economy, which we call transformative economies. The main objective of this process is to bring together social movements and projects which share the will to put people and the environment at the centre of the economy, to put an end to an economy based on extraction, growth, competition and the market, and to struggle towards collaborative, resilient societies which develop and reinforce strategic alliances and actions through working together.
