Hi,

Interface journal is publishing short pieces about social movements' struggles around the COVID-19 crisis, so we can learn from what each other is doing, find inspiration and hope, and think about the longer term.

We've just uploaded this week's batch of pieces at https://www.interfacejournal.net/:

  * Chiara Milan, Refugee solidarity along the Western Balkans route: new challenges and a change of strategy in times of COVID-19
  * Jackie Smith, Responding to coronavirus pandemic: human rights movement-building to transform global capitalism

And another 25 pieces from the last month including digital resistance in Iran, a Wuhan-based anti-domestic violence campaign, feminist challenges to tribalism in Pakistan, LGBTQ+ activism in Singapore, civil society struggles in Delhi, domestic workers' struggles in Brazil, NYC movement networks, Brazilian movement struggles (in Portuguese), anti-mining movements in Haiti (in French), movements in Toronto, US strikes, Greek small farmers' reistance, struggles in Spain, a solidarity kitchen in Birmingham, Italian activists' powerlessness, activism for the needy in Germany, gig economy workers' activism in Britain, feminist degrowth organising, a study of citizen volunteerism, human rights issues, community supported agriculture in Italy and globally, and indigenous struggles in India during the virus.
More to come - and we're still looking for contributions for our upcoming special issue! Full details at https://www.interfacejournal.net/.
Please share on your networks.
