[WSMDiscuss] Are viruses sentient beings?

The question being asked here comes from a very different mindset from that we usually find on this forum. I am putting a link here to a very different social movement, one which some may object to being included here. My feeling is at this time of potential for a deep transformation, socially, economically, politically, many different voices can come together for restoration and reparation, speaking for a new approach for our humanity. Bringing together many divergent threads may be what is needed to create this new tapestry for human society, which can include our relationship to all non human aspects and facets of our environment.

I am doing this because I see the possibility of linking with many different cultures which though based on very different belief systems,  may nevertheless join with us in the sort of society they envisage as desirable or essential to serve the interests of the whole of mankind.
