Friends, I am saddened to hear of the passing on of LaDonna 'Brave Bull'
Allard, a Sioux - Lakota indigenous person, one of those who led the
Standing Rock movement against the destructive Dakota pipeline through
indigenous territory in Turtle Island / North America. Historian, water
protector, wise elder, inter-generational mentor, and much more ....

I was honoured to be with her at a 'Defend the Sacred' meeting in
Tamera, Portugal a couple of years back, and to conduct this interview
of hers, "Standing Rock Still Stands!":
esp. to the part of how people from across the world, from different
faiths and cultures, came to the camp she set up against the pipeline,
from 9.00 to 10.40 or so ... I had tears in my eyes when she recounted
May her spirit continue to guide us in the struggle against destructive
development and towards a just and sustainable world.
More on her, including tributes, at:

(Please do not write back on full lists unless you want to add substance
to this post, like more memories of and inspiration from LaDonna).
