Dear Friends

Greetings! It is asad news I would like to share with you is that renowned scholar cumactivist Prof. Gail Omvedt passed away at Kasegaon, Sangli in Maharashtra. Shewas 81 year old. It is a loss which could never be compensated.  

 

I am at loss of wordsto explain my grief over her passing away. Gail Madam, as we lovingly use tocall her, is no more with us, is hard to believe. She would, however, remain withus through her seminal writings (books and articles). 

 

Rest in Power Prof.Gail Omvedt!
