Turtle Island in movement…, The US in movement…, Indigenous Peoples in movement…, Resistance in movement…, History in movement…, Cultures in movement…
[Please read this post in the light of earlier posts on news from Turtle Island, and the intensification of the struggles that Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island have been waging – and winning - for years now, against pipelines… The latest being the recent cancellation by the Biden regime of the Keystone XL line. Please now stand with the Lakota Youth running today, and run with them :
Today (Tuesday) at 8am CST, a dedicated group of Lakota youth will be starting a 93-mile relay run <http://report.mnb.email/t.js?s=60228fe234d1f748437c8187&u=43897618&v=3&key=3c9d&skey=ed808f1b32&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FStandingRockYouthCouncil%2Fvideos%2F1787435251421194> across the Standing Rock Sioux Nation, planning to arrive before sundown at the Cannonball River, the site of the historic #NoDAPL resistance camps over 4 years ago!
This run is formally being organized by the Standing Rock Youth Council and you can follow their journey throughout the day by watching live streams and posts here. <http://report.mnb.email/t.js?s=60228fe234d1f748437c8187&u=43897620&v=3&key=699e&skey=ed808f1b32&url=https%3A%2F%2Flinktr.ee%2FShutDownDAPL>

Hello relatives,
Today (Tuesday) at 8am CST, a dedicated group of Lakota youth will be starting a 93-mile relay run <http://report.mnb.email/t.js?s=60228fe234d1f748437c8187&u=43897618&v=3&key=3c9d&skey=ed808f1b32&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FStandingRockYouthCouncil%2Fvideos%2F1787435251421194> across the Standing Rock Sioux Nation, planning to arrive before sundown at the Cannonball River, the site of the historic #NoDAPL resistance camps over 4 years ago!
This run is formally being organized by the Standing Rock Youth Council and you can follow their journey throughout the day by watching live streams and posts here. <http://report.mnb.email/t.js?s=60228fe234d1f748437c8187&u=43897620&v=3&key=699e&skey=ed808f1b32&url=https%3A%2F%2Flinktr.ee%2FShutDownDAPL>
They are running because of one simple fact: DAPL IS AN ILLEGAL PIPELINE
Federal Courts have affirmed that tribal nation treaty rights and environmental justice violations have occurred, they have asked for the pipeline to cease operations while a new environmental study is conducted. And yet... oil is still flowing and the only person who can stop it right now is Joe Biden.
These youth are running to pressure President Biden to do what's right, be the #ClimatePresident he wants to be and #ShutDownDAPL! In order for us to Build Back Better, we must #BuildBackFossilFree.
The youth are asking folks to:
Run in solidarity. Even if for 1 min! Record yourself and post it! Use #shutdownDAPL. #ByeDenDAPL #BuildBackFossilFree
Call the White House and demand Biden shut down this illegal pipeline.
Tag the president in social media and amplify the demand!
Please help us get the word out!
Here is a social media toolkit f <http://report.mnb.email/t.js?s=60228fe234d1f748437c8187&u=43897622&v=3&key=55d9&skey=ed808f1b32&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fdocument%2Fd%2F1avIT19UPyFQ5kyrfSzUhJ1XSQGUBW-E884DR1sdnwzM%2Fedit%3Fusp%3Dsharing>or the event.
