Yesterday, Verónica Vilches was threatened again, and we can say that it was a death threat, because that was the reference in the graffiti that unknown persons painted on the water purification booth of her community. This in itself, both the water and the booth, are at the center of the conflict that affects Verónica, since she is the president of the APR (Rural Potable Water) since 2015, as well as an activist of Modatima (Movement for the Defense of Water, Land and Environmental Protection). Ayer, Verónica Vilches fue amenazada de nuevo, y podemos decir que de muerte, porque esa era la referencia en la pintada que realizaron desconocidos en la caseta de potabilización de agua de su comunidad. Ésta en sí, tanto el agua como la caseta, están en el centro del conflicto que afecta a Verónica, pues ella es la presidenta de la APR (Agua Potable Rural) desde 2015, así como activista de [Modatima](http://modatima.cl/) (Movimiento de Defensa del Agua, la Tierra y la Protección del Medioambiente).

Como decimos, esta amenaza no es nueva, porque ya ha sido amenazada incluso personalmente y verbalmente en la calle, desde por lo menos 2017. Ese año y el siguiente, Verónica Vilches y su compañero Rodrigo Mundaca fueron apoyados por Amnistía Internacional.
