From [A Planeta](https://aplaneta.org), and from Euskal Herria (Basque Country) we stand in solidarity with the young anti-fracking activists threatened in Puerto Wilches, department of Santander, Colombia. These activists oppose the development of fracking pilot projects in this area through the Committee for the Defense of Water, Life and Territory (AguaWil) and the [Colombia Fracking Free Alliance](https://colombialibredefracking.wordpress.com). AguaWil is a committee recently formed in that city to defend their territory against the possible implementation of fracking and is a member of the Alliance. Since December it has led peaceful educational and cultural mobilizations to express its opposition. Desde [A Planeta](https://aplaneta.org), y desde Euskal Herria (País Vasco) nos solidarizamos con las y los jóvenes activistas anti-fracking amenazadas en Puerto Wilches, departamento de Santander (Colombia). Estas activistas se oponen al desarrollo del Proyecto Piloto de Investigación Integral en Yacimientos No Convencionales ‘Kalé’ en esta zona, desde el Comité para la Defensa del Agua, la Vida y el Territorio (AguaWil) y de la [Alianza Colombia Libre de Fracking](https://colombialibredefracking.wordpress.com). AguaWil es un comité conformado recientemente en esa ciudad para defender su territorio frente a la posible implementación del fracking y es miembro de la Alianza. Desde diciembre ha liderado movilizaciones pacíficas de carácter pedagógico y cultural para expresar su oposición.
