From Euskal Herria (Basque Country) we join in denouncing the attack against [Manuela Royo Letelier,](https://twitter.com/RoyoManuela/)member of [MODATIMA](http://modatima.cl/) (Movement in Defense of Water, Land and Environmental Protection) (More below communiqué by MODATIMA’s Women) from Chile, by the fascists of APRA (Association for Peace and Reconciliation in Araucania) who far from pursuing what they express with their name, do the opposite: they incite hatred and racial and economic division. From Euskal Herria (Basque Country) our solidarity with Manuela Royo Letelier, her family, the Mapuche people in this umpteenth aggression, MODATIMA and its women, and the Apruebo Dignidad candidacy to the constitutional assembly.

Especially now, just a few days before March 8, which reminds us that not only on that day but every other day women suffer violence and injustice, and in the case of women activists twice more (or three times, or four times).

The attack occurred while the lawyer and candidate for the constitutional assembly was presenting the 10 proposals of her group for the Constitution, at the point agreed to convene the media. Among the proposals was the respect for Human Rights and plurinationality, the Good Living, water rights and alternatives to the climate emergency.

Desde Euskal Herria (País Vasco) nos unimos a la denuncia del ataque contra [Manuela Royo Letelier,](https://twitter.com/RoyoManuela/)miembro de [MODATIMA](http://modatima.cl/) (Movimiento de Defensa del Agua, la Tierra y la Protección del Medioambiente) (Más abajo comunicado de Mujeres de MODATIMA) de Chile, por los fascistas de APRA (Asociación Para la Paz y la Reconciliación en la Araucanía) que lejos de perseguir lo que expresan con su nombre, hacen lo opuesto: incitan al odio y la división racial y económica. Desde Euskal Herria (País Vasco) nuestra solidaridad con Manuela Royo Letelier, su familia, el pueblo mapuche en esta enésima agresión, MODATIMA y sus mujeres, y a la candidatura a la constituyente Apruebo Dignidad. En especial ahora, a escasos días del 8 de marzo, que nos recuerda que no sólo ese día sino todos los demás las mujeres sufren violencia e injusticia, y en el caso de las mujeres activistas por partida doble (o triple, o cuádruple)

El ataque ocurrió mientras la abogada y candidata a la constituyente presentaba las 10 propuestas de su grupo para la Constitución, en el punto acordado para convocar a los medios de comunicación. Entre las propuestas se planteaba el respeto por los Derechos Humanos y la plurinacionalidad, el Buen Vivir, derechos del Agua y alternativas a la emergencia climática.
