Greetings, friends, comrades !

            I am responding collectively onlist simply because of Walden’s outstanding importance for all of us, all over the world.

            Thanks to all those who have directly signed on to the Statement as posted for doing so, and thanks also to those such as Alberto Acosta, Thomas Moore, Carlos Walter Porto-Gonçalves, and Carlos Vanier, for expressing your support on list (but which I am assuming means that you have NOT signed directly only to the Statement as posted on the web).

Two : For all those who still want to endorse the Statement, PLEASE DO SO on the web (through the link above), and do NOT merely express your wish to endorse it here on list !  We just don’t have the secretarial capacity to collect signatures together, sign them on, etc !  (As an exception, I have collected together the names listed above and sent them in, but cannot go on doing this.)

Three : Initially, the Statement required that you had to also give your organisational identity.  PLEASE NOTE that this has now been changed, and if you prefer, you CAN ALSO SIGN ON AS INDIVIDUALS.  Just put ‘Individual’ in the box where it asks for Organisation.

            Estoy respondiendo colectivamente a la lista simplemente por la importancia sobresaliente de Walden para todos nosotros, en todo el mundo.

            Gracias a todos los que han firmado directamente la Declaración tal y como está publicada por hacerlo, y gracias también a aquellos como Alberto Acosta, Thomas Moore, Carlos Walter Porto-Gonçalves, y Carlos Vanier, por expresar su apoyo en la lista (pero que estoy asumiendo que NO han firmado directamente sólo a la Declaración tal y como está publicada en la web).
